Student Fees and Scholarship Funds The IBO has introduced a new fee structure that is effective September 2007. There are now two fees that must be paid for each candidate that is registered for an IB exam. Booker T. Washington High School/Tulsa Public Schools will assume the cost for the first fee: “Candidate Registration Fee”. BTW students are responsible for the individual “Subject Exam Fees”; there is no longer a fee for TOK and EE. The “Subject Exam Fee” is $84 per exam. For a student pursuing the full diploma, the total cost will be $504 (6 subject exams X $84). The fee is paid at the time of test registration, which occurs from mid to late October. If a candidate wishes to take additional exams, the cost is still $84 per exam. 1 exam $84.00 2 exams $168.00 3 exams $252.00 4 exams $336.00 5 exams $420.00 6 exams $504.00 Scholarship assistance is available for students for whom these costs pose an undue burden. Students should see the IB Coordinator for help in this process. BTW is committed to ensuring that all students have access to the IB program. May 2008 Test Registration and Fee Payment: October 15th - October 31st. (Checks payable to: B. T. Washington High School) |
