Meet the Teacher
Hola!
My name is Brian Balaskovits and I am a 29 year old early childhood certified teacher from Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am a huge sports fan and I love the Boston Red Sox. I love reading, listening to music, and staying in shape by lifting weights and playing golf.
After growing up in Albuquerque, I moved to Portales, New Mexico where I attended Eastern New Mexico University and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. College was a very rewarding experience, but it was nothing compared to what the future had in store for me.
After gaining my degree, I moved to Emporia, Kansas where I was given the opportunity to teach in a bilingual kindergarten for a year and a half. Once I left Kansas I chose to move to Tulsa, where for two years I taught pre-school at Corner Stone Child Development Center. In May of 2004, I was fortunate enough to be offered the kindergarten job here at Zarrow. I am very excited and lucky to be a part of such a successful, productive, and beneficial program. I hope to be here for a long time. I am expecting a wonderful school year and hope that this is your child’s first of many wonderful years at our fine school.
