Carver Middle School
Carver Middle School recognizes the importance of securing help from all areas of the community to empower students with the tools to pursue enriching and successful adult lives. Selected by the U.S. Department of Education as a 2006-07 Blue Ribbon School, Carver students achieve the highest standardized test scores of all middle schools in Tulsa County.
Carver is one of two TPS middle schools that fall within the original Booker T. Washington historical boundary, which gives graduating 8th graders geographical preference when applying to BTW. Carver’s rigorous curriculum is designed to complement BTW’s AP and IB programs, so students are better prepared to meet BTW’s academic admission requirements.
Approximately 60 percent of Carver’s incoming 6th graders are composed of eligible and qualified students who reside in Quadrants I and II. The remaining 40 percent are selected from eligible and qualified students who reside in Quadrants III and IV or outside TPS boundaries.
