Online courses (check course offerings for classes available) will be provided to engage students in the learning process through animations, simulations, video-based presentations, online content, vocabulary and exploration activities that support each lesson presented by a Highly Qualified Virtual Classroom teacher.  Online embedded homework and other activities reinforce student understanding with content mastery that is measured through formative and summative assessments delivered for each class segment.  (For high school students only, headphones required).  Students are required to attend online classes Monday-Friday for attendance purposes.  The student has the option to work on assignments at home and/or library to move through the class at a faster pace, until the class is passed with a “B” or better and the teacher is satisfied with the work done.  This will allow students the option of enrolling in more than two classes during the Tuition Based Summer Program.
