2 News Oklahoma and Equity Bank spent the afternoon with 3rd graders at Anderson Elementary as part of the Read 2 Lead program. Students got go between 3 stations including the Gaining Grounds book bus, a weather truck, and a meteorology green screen! Channel 2 staff taught the kids about their jobs and the important role that reading plays for them every day. Equity bank also donated $250 to help the school continue to equip their students with the material needed to excel in literacy. Read 2 Lead aims to inspire a lifetime of reading!
