On Tuesday, Nov. 29, students, team, and community members at Booker T. Washington High School celebrated the opening of the school’s new tennis courts with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting.

Thanks to two generous donations made through the Foundation for Tulsa Schools and the support of Tulsa voters in the 2021 bond, the facility features four lighted tennis courts, dressing rooms, parking spaces, restrooms, a concession stand, and improvements to the S.E. Williams Stadium.

This expansion will allow the school to host tournaments and partner with the Tulsa Parks Department for additional tennis opportunities in North Tulsa.
