Tulsa – 158 students from elementary, middle, and junior high schools met at the Wilson Teaching & Learning Center to compete in the fourth annual Tulsa Public Schools chess tournament. Their goal, become chess champion of their grade level. Students first competed at their schools with only the top 10 students from each school qualifying for the district tournament. Trophies were awarded to the first place team from each grade level, as well as the top three place finishers in each grade level. Congratulations to everyone involved, hope to see even more compete next year!
