Enrollment notifications for 2021-2022
If you participated in the 2021-2022 student enrollment process, you will receive an email with information about your child’s placement by the end of the day. That email will include both your child’s placement and any waitlists that your child is on. When you receive that notification, please note that you will not need to take any action to accept your student’s placement. You may, however, choose to decline the assigned placement and will find instructions for how to do that in the email. If you participated in the 2021-2022 enrollment process but not receive an email, please email the enrollment center at enroll@tulsaschools.org.
Switching your mode of learning
Families who want to switch into or back from distance learning while we are in-person, can fill out the Distance Learning Commitment Form on Smart Choice at enroll.tulsaschools.org. Families switching back to in-person from distance must submit these changes the Wednesday prior to when they would like to change their mode of learning. Changes take effect every Monday. Families switching from in-person to distance need to submit the form 24 hours before they want to change their mode of learning.
- If you want to move your child from distance learning to in-person learning, log onto SmartChoice at enroll.tulsaschools.org and use the “Semester Two Commitment” form to select the in-person learning mode.

2021-2022 school calendar and extended learning opportunities
Our board recently approved the 2021-2022 school year calendar. The school year will begin on Aug. 19, 2021 and, if none of the built-in snow days are used, the last day of school will be May 26, 2022. The 2021-2022 calendar does not include the intercession weeks that we had this year, but students will still have our traditional breaks and other holidays. Next year, students will attend in-person classes five days per week (Mondays - Fridays).
Extended learning opportunities will be available for students Oct. 13 - 15, 2021 and Feb. 23 - 25, 2022. On these dates, schools may offer extended learning opportunities for students. You will receive more information about extended learning opportunities from your child’s school after the new school year begins. Visit www.tulsaschools.org/calendar to download the 2021-2022 calendar.
