Get support services free of charge at the Parent Resource Center! The Parent Resource Center (located at 525 E. 46th St. N. in the Alcott building next to North Star Academy) is offering new services to families this year through partnerships with Emergency Infant Services, Family and Children’s Services, the Financial Empowerment Center, and the Oklahoma Parents Center. Supports available include formula, diapers, and food for infants; clothing; on-site mental health and addiction treatment services; one-on-one financial counseling and services for children with special needs. Attendance matters! Be sure to get your child to school on-time every day. As we start the school year, it is important to set regular bed-time and morning routines and make sure to have a back-up plan for getting your child to school. Every day of learning counts, and we want your child in class every day. If you need help with your child’s attendance, contact your child’s school.

The North Tulsa Community Education Task Force received the 2022 Barbara Lynch Community Partner Award from the Oklahoma State School Boards Association.

More than 700 students and families received school supplies free of charge during the Tulsa Public Schools Indian Education Back to School Bash.

The Tulsa community showed up in a big way at the Back to School Community Resource Fair to ensure students were prepared for the start of school.

Thanks to federal recovery funds, we were able to invest in air quality improvements in our buildings, Ready. Set. Summer! programming, and enrichment programs to address learning loss. Learn more about ESSER (federal recovery) funding here.

Plan for the future at our Beyond College and Career Fair! All high school juniors and seniors are invited to our 10th annual Beyond College and Career Fair on September 12 from 9am to 1:30pm at the University of Tulsa Reynolds Center located at 3208 E. 8th St. Students can meet with more than 50 recruiters from colleges, employers, and the military.
