The Oklahoma School Counselor Association (OSCA) named Booker T. Washington High School Counselor Jennifer Sack as the 2023-2024 Oklahoma School Counselor of the Year! Superintendent Deborah Gist, OSCA President Christi Sturgeon, and others surprised Jennifer with the exciting news during the senior awards assembly at Booker T. Washington High School today.
OSCA says the award "honors an Oklahoma school counselor who is running a top-notch, comprehensive school counseling program at the elementary, middle, or high school level."
Jennifer is proud to be a counselor at Booker T. Washington for grades 10 through 12, and she will now have the opportunity to participate in the National School Counselor of the Year selection process.
