Calendar changes for 2020-2021 school year
We have made some important changes to the calendar for the 2020-2021 school year. The April intersession break was removed and replaced with regular instructional days. The last day of school will now be May 28, 2021. You can find our full calendar for the year at www.tulsaschools.org/calendar.
Keeping students safe and healthy
We all play a role in keeping our schools safe! Please take a few minutes to review our safety resources:
- Safety practices, mask requirements, and response to COVID-19 exposure;
- What to do if your child has symptoms of or is exposed to COVID-19;
- When to keep your child home from school.
Elementary student expectations for Semester 2
We want your child to have a great second semester! Please take some time to review our student expectations for distance learning, in-person learning, and mask requirements.
Meal service updates
We have made some changes to meal distribution locations and schedules. Please visit www.tulsaschools.org/mealsites for details.
Resources for COVID-19 vaccination
Eligibility groups for COVID-19 vaccination as of Friday, Feb. 26 include healthcare workers, first responders, Oklahomans age 65+, Oklahomans age 16+ with comorbidities, and teachers and staff in pre-K-12 schools and educational settings. Area resources for vaccination include:
- Cherokee Nation Health Services
- Choctaw Nation (available for current CNHSA patients with a Certified Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) card, as well as anyone in their household, 18 years and older)
- Department of Veterans Affairs
- Muscogee Creek Nation
- Oklahoma State Department of Health
- Osage Nation (available to any Native American 18 years or older; you do not need to be an existing patient)
- Walmart
- Sam’s Club
You can also visit vaccinate.oklahoma.gov to pre-register for vaccination and to receive notification of your eligibility.

COVID-19 rapid testing opt-in
We are partnering with the Tulsa Health Department to provide in-school COVID-19 rapid tests of randomly-selected staff members and students. We need your help to make sure this important safety measure is successful! To opt your child into the program, please complete this consent form; we will only test those students with completed consent forms. We hope you will include your child in the program and support COVID-19 prevention efforts at Tulsa Public Schools. Learn more.
