We're excited to launch the 2026 Family Feedback Survey. This district-wide survey provides an opportunity for families to share feedback about how we are serving you and your students. Your voice matters, and your input helps us understand what’s working well and where we can continue to grow.

Prizes will be awarded for participation!

  • The elementary school with the highest survey completion will receive Incredible Pizza cards.
  • The middle and high school with the highest survey completion will receive food truck lunch events.

How do you take the new 2026 Family Feedback Survey?

To complete this year’s survey, visit www.tulsaschools.org/survey. You will be required to enter a student ID number to confirm that you are a parent/guardian of a Tulsa Public Schools student. We encourage families to complete the survey at least once. You also have the option to complete it once per student if you wish - you’ll just enter a different student ID number each time, answering the questions based on each student’s individual experiences. Please check your email for a list of your students' ID numbers.

As you may remember, 2025 marked the second year of gathering family feedback in this large-scale initiative to improve service to our families. As a result, we carefully and thoughtfully analyzed 1,100 survey responses and brought them back to our school and district teams.

Here are some of the things we heard:

  • 88% of families agree that staff make them feel welcome and supported;
  • Families shared high levels of trust and appreciation for their teachers’ commitment to students’ learning and well-being;
  • 86% of families said they feel informed about their student’s progress (an encouraging 28-point increase from 2024!); and
  • Families continue to value the variety of programs offered that support different learning styles and interests.

We also heard valuable insights into areas that need continued attention, including transportation and walking safety, student experiences, and behavior supports.

In response to some of the concerns we heard from families:

  • Tulsa Public Schools continues to partner with the City of Tulsa and local organizations to help improve walking safety for students and families to and from school. This includes supporting needs related to crossing guards, safe paths to school, and even implementing new Walking School Bus programs at some school sites.
  • The 2026 Strong Schools, Strong Tulsa bond package includes spending aimed to modernize safety systems at our schools and on our buses, including monitoring systems and bus fleet replacements. Proposition 4 of the 2026 Bond allocates funds for new buses, parts to repair existing vehicles, and improvements to software and camera systems on buses. It will also expand access to various offsite programs and activities for students through the purchase of student transport vehicles and minibuses.
  • Schools are working to expand tutoring services, adding more small-group instruction, and strengthening our systems of support to provide timely help to students. We’re also enhancing advisory programs at secondary sites and adding relationship-building activities in elementary schools.
  • We are reviewing school staffing models and possibilities, increasing teacher coaching opportunities, and creating even more hands-on, collaborative learning that helps reduce the total amount of time that students spend on devices each day.

Thank you for your partnership and commitment to our students’ success. Together, we’re building schools where every family feels seen, heard, and supported. Please visit www.tulsaschools.org/survey and share your feedback before Friday, April 17.
