Elrico Palmer has been selected as the Support Employee of the Year for the Grounds team.

Elrico has worked at Tulsa Public Schools for almost eighteen years. He has been in his current position as Grounds Lead for fourteen years. 

"My responsibilities are maintaining the grounds by mowing campuses, trimming shrubs, weed-eating fencelines, edging sidewalks, blowing the grass off, and ensuring that there aren't any safety hazards on my sites," explained Elrico. "My favorite part of my job is maintaining my campuses so that they look nice. I could not do it without my right hand man, my journeyman Tru Jones."
