Kenneth Good Voice is the 2025-2026 Nutrition team Support Professional of the Year!

Kenneth joined Team Tulsa in 2016 and has worked as a cook in the Haven Cafe for nine years.

What led you to a career in Tulsa Public Schools?

I've spent most of my career as a professional baker specifically at Petty's Fine Foods. When we lost our lease at Utica Square, I decided to try something different. With backing from my wife, I answered an ad from TPS looking for a baker for the Haven Cafe. I've really enjoyed my time here working for TPS.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

What I really enjoy about my job is our guests that frequent the cafe. We have some of the best customers. I also love that I can be creative as I want (within cost reason) in crafting desserts as well as savory cooking. 

What is one thing you are passionate about outside of work?

One thing that I am absolutely passionate about is my family. My wife and I have been blessed with four adult kids, twelve grandkids, and one great-grandkid. This job allows plenty of family time.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

I am also blessed to have some wonderful co-workers and a hard working cafe manager. They are the best.
