Mia Vera is a graduating senior at Nathan Hale High School whose plans are guided by her desire to make an impact on her community. 

While completing internships with two different architectural firms, she has narrowed down her career paths to the architectural field. She has been accepted to attend Oklahoma State University’s architecture program.

Not only is she excited to contribute to communities through building projects, she is looking forward to offering her perspective to a field in which Hispanic culture is underrepresented. 

Her advice to fellow seniors is simple yet powerful: "Keep going."
