Students present their projects in front of an audience

Tulsa Public Schools Changemakers students from across the district presented their community impact projects at Fall Pitch Nights! Students have been collaborating at their schools all semester to plan and execute their projects.

Kendall-Whittier Elementary students are collecting winter coats for their peers. Sequoyah Elementary students are addressing bullying, and John Hope Franklin Elementary's Changemakers are encouraging kindness with an art project.

Middle school students at Monroe Demonstration Academy are focused on environmentalism, and Will Rogers students are working to make sure other students feel like they belong.

These are just a few examples of the projects students have been working on. Students are using their unique perspectives, listening to their peers, and identifying challenges in their communities so they can work towards change. They are building invaluable relationships and skills that will help them have success in school and beyond.
