On Wednesday, May 15th, Tulsa Public Schools’ Deputy Chief Finance Officer, Jill Hendricks met with officials from the Oklahoma State Department of Education finance office. The meeting, the seventh in a newly scheduled series of biweekly meetings, occurred virtually.

The meeting was scheduled for 60 minutes. Mary Johnson, CPA, a hired consultant, was introduced to the team. As requested by OSDE, Mary's role will be to review TPS policies and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

The TPS team led the discussion and review of the documentation requested by the State Department of Education, and reviewed action items from the previous meeting. Tulsa Public Schools fulfilled all requests except for one, which required additional clarification.
