On Wednesday, February 28, Tulsa Public Schools’ Deputy Chief Finance Officer, Jill Hendricks met with officials from the Oklahoma State Department of Education finance office. The meeting, the fifth in a newly scheduled series of biweekly meetings, occurred virtually. 

 The meeting was scheduled for 60 minutes.  The Tulsa Public Schools team led the discussion of the documentation requested by the State Department of Education and reviewed actions items from the previous meeting.  Tulsa Public Schools fulfilled the request and will submit additional documentation as requested by the State Department of Education . The State Department of Education will send additional follow up questions once they have completed the review of the documentation submitted. The meeting adjourned after approximately 55 minutes.

The Tulsa Public Schools team appreciates the continued collaboration towards further strengthening internal controls and financial transparency. This partnership will allow the district to continue the work toward our shared objectives.

The meeting was scheduled for 60 minutes.  The Tulsa Public Schools team led the discussion of the questions submitted by the State Department of Education.  Tulsa Public Schools will submit additional documentation to the State, and the State Department of Education will send additional follow up questions once they have completed the review of the documentation submitted. The meeting adjourned after approximately 45 minutes.
