The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs awarded Eisenhower International School the LabelFrancÉducation for its successful French language immersion program.

Launched in 2012, the LabelFrancÉducation seal is granted to schools promoting French language and culture as part of their specific curriculum. LabelFrancÉducation recognizes and rewards schools that offer students enhanced instruction in the French language while also teaching other subjects in French. 

In Eisenhower’s language immersion program, students are immersed in Spanish or French 90 percent of their instructional time from kindergarten through 2nd grade. Over time, instruction in English is gradually added, and students learn 50 percent of the time in English and 50 percent of the time in Spanish or French by 5^th grade. Eisenhower began their French dual language in 1993. This is the third time Eisenhower has received the LabelFrancÉducation award for its successful French language program.
