Allen Medlock is the 2023-2024 Nathan Hale High School Teacher of the Year!
Allen joined the team at Hale in 2021. He teaches social studies and serves as the head baseball and softball coach.
"I love the students! I’ve been extremely lucky to be placed in freshman classes with the ability to make connections with the new kids learning their way around high school," said Allen.
"My wife Amber and I watched our three children graduate from Tulsa Public Schools and saw the benefits of great educators and caring individuals within the school district. After many years of working in the medical industry, I was asked to teach and coach in the district, and it was an easy choice to join the team."
Outside of work, Allen loves to travel with his wife.
"During the summer we try to attend as many Major League Baseball games as possible. Married to a military brat, we’ve been fortunate enough to visit her former high school outside of Honolulu, Hawaii."
