Lindsey Wren is the 2025-2026 Lanier Elementary Support Professional of the Year!

Lindsey joined Team Tulsa as a teacher's assistant in August and moved to her current position as a paraprofessional in December. 

What led you to a career in education?

I have always loved helping people learn and wanted to make a positive impact on my students, just as my teachers did for me.

What is your favorite thing about your work?

Working in the STARS classroom has strengthened my patience, empathy, and adaptability. I love meeting each child where they are, celebrating small victories, and creating a safe, structured, and encouraging environment where every student can succeed.

What is one thing you are passionate about outside of teaching?

I love spending time with my family, being an aunt, caring for my dogs, and enjoying life as a newlywed.

Is there anything else you would like to share?

Working in education has confirmed that this is my passion and calling. I have started college to earn my degree in elementary education and special education, and I am excited to continue growing in my career while helping every student succeed and reach their full potential.
