Pama Beesley is the 2023-2024 Lanier Elementary Support Professional of the Year!
Pama has worked at Lanier for about three years as the parent facilitator and library assistant. In these roles, she helps with book check-out, special events, volunteer management, and ensuring students have the clothing and food they need.
"I enjoy working with children and helping them and their families. I enjoy working in the school library displaying books that I feel students might enjoy and are relevant to the season. When children read books and become better readers, everyone benefits."
Pama said working in education is a "family thing." One son is an assistant principal in Tulsa Public Schools and the other is a principal in another district. Her daughter-in-law also works for TPS.
