Tulsa MET held a student-led presentation on Monday to announce their partnership with Pryer Aerospace.
Pryer Aerospace will provide internship opportunities, financial support, and curriculum for STEAM skills needed in the industry, as well helping design and develop entrepreneurship and business courses at the school.
Tulsa MET focuses on providing diverse opportunities for their students through community partnerships. Their Learning Through Internships program allows students to have "real-world" experiences and discover their passions.
"We have learned over the years teenagers of no idea what they want to be when they grow up. Here at Tulsa MET, we work starting in this sixth grade to uncover what makes kids tick, what brings the spark," said interim Principal Jen Baugess.
