All Tulsa Public Schools students in grades 9-12 are invited to participate in the free Ready Set Film summer workshop at Webster Middle and High School from July 11-22! Ready Set Film is a fun, two-week hands-on introduction to the world of filmmaking, the Oklahoma film industry, and the career opportunities available.

Oklahoma’s film industry is growing and needs a dedicated and trained workforce to meet the demands in the coming years. Attending the Ready Set Film summer workshop could be your first step on the journey to a career in the film industry!

The program is hosted by the TWHTV STUDIOS | Television Film & Digital Media Program at Webster Middle and High School with support from the FEIO (Film Education Institute of Oklahoma). The workshop provides exposure to the skills commonly experienced in an on-set environment through a series of projects and activities designed to replicate both the creative and technical aspects of working in the film and television industry. Week two will see students working together as a film crew to complete a short film that will serve as a demonstration of all they have learned.

The Ready Set Film summer workshop is free, open to all Tulsa Public Schools students in grades 9-12, and will take place at Webster High School from 9am - 3pm on July 11 - July 22.
