In August, Will Rogers College High School held a celebration for the 9th grade students who successfully applied to the EDGE (Earn a Degree, Graduate Early) program. Family and friends were invited to help honor these dedicated students, who are set to graduate in 2029. They will be the school’s first group to begin this program!
In EDGE, students graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate degree free of charge. The program provides high school students with the support they need to succeed in college with extra tutoring, monthly events with classmates, study sessions, and even access to college facilities! The program is currently offered at McLain High School, Memorial High School, Will Rogers College High School, and KIPP Tulsa University Preparatory.
