Internships
Tulsa Public School’s HIRE Up Internship program—hosted in partnership with The Opportunity Project and supported by Green Country Workforce—provides students with a unique opportunity to explore post-secondary possibilities. This program will provide high school students with authentic work-based learning experiences, while allowing them an opportunity to develop critical workforce skills.
Work
An internship allows you to gain work experience while still in high school. You’ll be able to develop your skills and gain new ones. It’s work, and a chance to explore career possibilities.
Learn
Connect the dots between the work you are doing and the goals you’ve set for yourself. You’ll be able to expand your understanding of the workplace by debriefing with your peers during your cohort experience.
Earn
Get paid! Many interns are able to find paid opportunities. You also have the option to earn elective credits for your high school transcript.
