Reporting Conflicts of Interest

As part of Tulsa Public Schools ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and trust within our school district, this information offers details about sharing concerns or seeking clarification.

For members of Team Tulsa:

If you believe you have a potential conflict of interest, it is essential that you disclose it to your supervisor as soon as possible. This could include personal financial interests, outside business interests, family or close personal relationships that could affect your objectivity. It also applies to receiving gifts or benefits that could affect your objectivity. Full disclosure helps us to manage and address these situations appropriately. This is a protection for you and for the district.

As a reminder, members of Team Tulsa should review the full Conflict of Interest Policy. If you have any questions or concerns about how this policy applies to you, do not hesitate to reach out to your supervisor.

For external stakeholders:

Tulsa Public Schools wants to ensure that our relationships with external stakeholders are built on trust and mutual respect. We are fully committed to identifying and addressing any potential conflicts of interest, whether internal or external. With this in mind, we encourage any community member or other stakeholder to share concerns you may have regarding possible conflicts of interest that could impact our business dealings or partnership.

This form can be used by anyone to share a concern or ask a question about a potential conflict related to district operations and/or business. All Ethics Reporting submissions will be thoroughly investigated to the extent allowed by the information submitted. After an initial review of concern submissions, an investigation may involve additional TPS leaders, external authorities or other third parties. Reporters can remain anonymous or leave contact information to allow for an appropriate response. We will strive to protect confidentiality during the investigation process to the greatest extent possible.
