The Multilingual Parent Advisory Council (MPAC) provides a meaningful opportunity for parents and guardians of multilingual learners in Tulsa Public Schools to share their thoughts, concerns, and ideas with the district on interests and issues impacting their children’s education.
The MPAC is comprised of parents and guardians of multilingual learners enrolled in Tulsa Public Schools and meets monthly to:
- Provide the district with feedback and insight from the parent’s perspective on matters that are important to their students
- Explore ways ways to advocate and support their children’s education
- Learn about the district, the services, programs and resources available
Parents who attend the MPAC meetings serve as an advisory group that makes recommendations, encourages brainstorming and help:
- Improve the opportunities and services provided to multilingual students and their families
- Support efforts to strengthen communication and engagement with multilingual families
- Shape programs and opportunities that promote multilingual students’ success in TUlsa Public Schools
MPAC sessions for the SY25-26 school year are held in person on the last Thursday of each month from 11:00 am - 12.30 pm. Parents are invited to attend through TalkingPoints messages and registration is required.
