Bond Updates

On Thursday, Oct. 6, students, team, and community members at East Central High School celebrated the opening of the school’s new arena with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting celebration.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony marks the completion of the new East Side Arena. This multi-sport facility was funded through the support of Tulsa voters in the 2015 and 2021 bonds. The space includes multiple gyms, a walking track, dressing rooms, and office spaces. In partnership with the YMCA of Greater Tulsa, students and community members will benefit from an expanded fitness center being open to the public during evening and weekend hours.
