HOW CAN YOU SUPPORT STUDENTS IN TULSA?
Simple ways to support students, families, and the teams of Tulsa Public Schools.
SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER FOR ACADEMIC SUPPORTS
Research proves that more caring adults in schools can lead to better outcomes for students. When a student knows that grown-ups at school care about them, and are there to support them and their growth, they have better attendance and better achievement. You can be that adult for a student!
You can volunteer during the school day, after school, or over a break.
Background checks and volunteer commitment forms are required of all volunteers.
Volunteer form - English
Volunteer form - Spanish
SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER TO HELP AT ATHLETIC AND AFTER SCHOOL EVENTS
We know that sports, band, after school activities, and enrichment opportunities can be the glue that keeps many students excited and connected to school. And, we want all of Tulsa to support our students on the field, on the court, on the debate stage, the robotics competition and wherever else their passions take them. But, we need YOU to help keep things running smoothly by volunteering your time to support our athletes, scholars, and fans.
There are opportunities to volunteer at athletic events between one and four days a week from 4pm to 9:30pm. Training is provided based on the position. Reach out to school athletic directors for more information.
If you have a few hours to volunteer as a chaperone or monitor, help keep ticket sales moving, or just be a caring adult presence, visit https://www.volunteermatch.org/ to sign up.
Background checks and volunteer commitment forms are required of all volunteers.
ARE YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS A PARTNER IN EDUCATION ?

HOST STUDENTS FOR CAREER EXPLORATION AND/OR INTERNSHIPS
Tulsa Public Schools has a commitment to giving our secondary students exposure to the world of possibility beyond their classrooms. When students can see their future selves succeeding in careers beyond high school, it contributes to their commitment to their learning and their persistence toward graduation. By welcoming students into your place of business, and helping them see themselves as the future workforce our city needs, you contribute to the success of individual students and the overall prosperity of our community.
