One Team TPS Ambassadors
We are launching a district-wide call for volunteers to serve as One Team TPS Ambassadors. By volunteering, you not only help create a safer and more supportive environment for our students, but you also show them that their community cares deeply about their future. Studies prove that kids who have supportive, non-parent adults in their lives do better academically, have higher self-esteem, reduced behavioral problems, fewer mental health concerns, and less substance use.
As a dedicated volunteer, you will support our schools in essential areas that directly impact the student experience and the well-being of our staff. We are seeking community members to assist with:
Elementary Schools:
- Before school arrival/breakfast time support
- Support students and assist teachers during literacy blocks
- Extra help during recess and dismissal
- Adult presence and extra hands during extracurricular events and activities
Middle and High Schools:
- Routine morning screenings and bag checks
- Supporting students during lunch
- Hallway monitoring during transitions
- Extra help during dismissal
- Adult presence and support at extracurricular events, athletics, and activities

HOST STUDENTS FOR CAREER EXPLORATION AND/OR INTERNSHIPS
At Tulsa Public Schools, we’re building clear, supported pathways so every student graduates prepared for college, career, and life. SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER TO HELP AT ATHLETIC AND AFTER SCHOOL EVENTS
We know that sports, band, after school activities, and enrichment opportunities can be the glue that keeps many students excited and connected to school. And, we want all of Tulsa to support our students on the field, on the court, on the debate stage, the robotics competition and wherever else their passions take them. But, we need YOU to help keep things running smoothly by volunteering your time to support our athletes, scholars, and fans.
There are opportunities to volunteer at athletic events between one and four days a week from 4pm to 9:30pm. Training is provided based on the position. Reach out to school athletic directors for more information.
