Edison Preparatory School serves students in grades 6 through 12 on a 44-acre campus in the heart of Mid-Town Tulsa. Our school focuses on academic excellence, student achievement, and making positive contributions to the community, serving as both a school of right for students in our area, but also an academic magnet program for qualified student applicants. We have very talented, caring teachers and staff who work tirelessly to ensure that students receive a well-articulated and challenging curriculum, achieving their potential not only intellectually, but also artistically, athletically, and socially. We are also home to the only secondary deaf education program in northeastern Oklahoma.

Edison Prep Middle has the unique distinction of feeding into Edison Prep High School; because our middle school is housed with our high school, Edison Prep Middle School students are able to take several courses for high school credit. We also offer a full range of fine arts, world languages, career tech, and competitive athletic classes. Edison is a microcosm of America – come see, experience, and live our talent and diversity!

Fine Arts

Edison's award-winning Fine Arts department produces artists of the highest caliber in each of its disciplines. Whether placing students in All-State ensembles or winning awards in contest performances and showings, the department–along with its teachers, actors, visual artists, and musicians–continue to raise the bar for the arts in the city, the state, and the region.

  • Learn and grow in a friendly, family-like environment with a strong community spirit;
  • Select from a wide variety of specialty courses and programs, including AP courses and electives; and
  • Interact with a diverse group of peers, teachers, and school staff in a safe and engaging school environment.

I’ve been fortunate to be a student at Edison since 6th grade and I’ve participated in dance, pep club, National Honor Society, and even worked in the attendance office. As a student there are so many options to be involved and meet new people. I love how teachers are always helpful and happy to see us. I’ve learned that it’s okay to be different and I love that I can just be myself at Edison.Edison Preparatory alumnus
