Advanced Placement Offerings
Memorial High School has something for every student to get involved. We are large enough for diverse opportunities yet small enough for all students to be included. Students can build academic rigor through our multiple Advanced Placement course offerings or through our new Early College High School Program. The brand-new Early College High School program will allow participating students to graduate with both a high school diploma and an associate’s degree from Tulsa Community College at the end of their high school career.
Student voice is a critical piece of our culture and climate and has led to the implementation of student-selected Activity Periods that range from cooking, yoga, anime, Sci-fi movies, knitting, board games, and even Medieval Fight Club! We offer a variety of performing arts classes including instrumental, vocal, and visual arts classes. Memorial's JROTC Program and Student Council courses are model programs for students who wish to develop leadership and service skills.
In addition, our award-winning engineering magnet program offers challenging curriculum in engineering principles, design and development. Our robotics team, the "Circuit Chargers," compete for world titles every year and are among the most decorated robotics teams in the United States. At Memorial, our students are valued, parents are welcomed, and the community is invested.
Nearly every device or process we use comes from advances in STEM. From wireless communication to automobile design to space flight, science and mathematics are at the core of virtually every technological development. Memorial’s magnet program provides a rigorous education to prepare students for life in the twenty-first century. Our mission is to help students take the next step - enrolling in a university-level STEM program - with confidence in the field they have chosen and with the skills that will ensure their success.
Starting in the 2021-2022 school year, students at Memorial High School can earn a college degree free of charge from Tulsa Community College while in high school through the Early College High School program.
The Early College High School program provides high school students with the support they need to succeed in college with extra tutoring, monthly events with your classmates, study sessions, access to college facilities, and more.

It wasn’t only the world-class teachers, administrators, coaches and counselors that made my experience at Memorial special, it was the community ethos of hard work, perseverance and mental toughness that prepared me to face the challenges outside of the classroom! I am forever grateful for Memorial and the people that make it such a special place for laying the foundation of academic achievement and ultimately placing me on the path to success.Memorial High School alumnus
