Parent Outreach and Training
In order to assist non-English speaking parents and caregivers who have children enrolled in Tulsa Public Schools to become active participants in their child's education, the office of Language and Cultural Services offers free programs and training opportunities throughout the school year.
The office of Language and Cultural Services addresses the particular needs of non-English speaking families, and provides the following opportunities to help parents develop skills and strengthen their involvement in their child's education.
ReadyRosie
This free resource is designed for English learners in Pre-K through 3rd grade. The program helps students prepare for their first day of school by providing school readiness skills and by laying a foundation for student success in future school years.
ReadyRosie focuses on empowering parents and guardians to be their child’s first teacher through daily texts, emails, or app notifications in English and Spanish.
