Summer Academy

Summer is a time for fun with friends and family, but it shouldn’t be a time where learning stops.

On average, students lose nearly half of their school-year learning during the summer months. Our students deserve our best efforts to give them the instruction they need to prevent summer learning loss. Our Summer Academy is a program that brings all TPS faculty and staff together for a single goal: ensuring students are prepared for success on day one of the next school year.

The program runs from Monday, June 24th to Thursday, July 18th and includes breakfast, lunch, and a half-day of instruction and learning activities.

At each of the 8 school sites across Tulsa Public Schools, summer enrichment programs run by community partner organizations provide fun activities during the afternoon. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this critical opportunity to help your child begin the new school year prepared for academic success.

If you do not want your child to take advantage of this summer learning opportunity, you can withdraw him or her here. You can also update your enrollment information - such as summer address - or, you can visit your student's current school site or the enrollment center at 2819 S. New Haven Ave., Tulsa, OK 74114.

We look forward to partnering with you this summer to help your child stay on track for academic success!
